Eusebio aims for La Real recovery

Eusebio Sacristan is hoping his Real Sociedad side will bounce back from last week’s four-goal loss at home to Sevilla as they travel to Malaga on Monday night.

A win would take La Real into fifth place – leapfrogging Villarreal and within two points of Atletico Madrid, while Malaga are seeking their first win under new boss Marcelo Romero.

“Malaga are a very competitive team who play with intensity and have a strong home record,” Eusebio is quoted as saying by Marca ahead of the clash at La Rosaleda.

“Our aim is to win but this will not be an easy task and we will have to perform at our very best, but we are placing great significance and importance upon it as it is crucial for our season’s hopes.

“We have some players unavailable with injury and others not at full fitness so now it is important for us to manage the squad and make sensible decisions.”
