Barca ‘tinkering’ with Coutinho move

Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho has once again been linked with a move to FC Barcelona, who are set to be 'tinkering' with his signing next summer.

Spanish website OK Diario has reported that Coutinho was set to become the world's most valued player in world football and say that the same criteria was applied last year to predict a similar move for Paul Pogba, who eventually returned to Manchester United.

The report goes on to say that whilst the Brazilian is happy on Merseyside and is seen as a key part of Jurgen Klopp's plans, it is likely that a potential move to the Catalans would test his resolve.

Real Madrid have also been linked with a move for Coutinho, with compatriot and former Madrid striker Ronaldo stating he would love to see him at the Bernabeu – http://www.football-espana.net/61399/brazilian-ronaldo-wants-coutinho-rm.

Earlier this week, former Barcelona midfielder Xavi said the 24-year-old is one of the few players who would improve the Blaugrana – http://www.football-espana.net/61762/coutinho-would-improve-barca-xavi.
