Eusebio Sacristian believes Real Sociedad will have their work cut out when they host a “demanding” Alaves in La Liga on Saturday.
La Real have won their last two home games ahead of welcoming Alaves to Anoeta, but they enter the game on the back of defeat in last weekend’s Basque derby at Athletic Bilbao, while their upcoming opponents sit directly above them in 10th.
“We would’ve liked to continue at San Mames our run at Anoeta, but we couldn’t and now we want to do things right like we’ve done in recent home games. Three points would do us very nicely,” the Coach said at a Press conference.
“We always work to win the next game, deserve to win and make our fans happy.
“We have players who can carry out what we’re trying to do. We’re looking to improve our game because then we’ll be more effective and pick up more points.
“Alaves? They’re a team that are in a positive dynamic, with lots of enthusiasm, faith and confidence, so we’ll have a demanding game.
“Of course, if we do things well, we’ll have many possibilities to win.”
