Top flight a ‘blessing’ for Osasuna

Osasuna boss Enrique Martin is not panicking about his side's winless start to the season and is remaining positive for the season.

The club have picked up only two points from their opening four games to leave them in the relegation zone, but Martin enforced that being in the top flight was a magnificent achievement for the club and he was optimistic that the wins would start to arrive.

"It is a blessing to be in LaLiga and now we must work to carry that on," explained the 60-year-old who guided the club to promotion, via the playoffs, in his first full season in charge.

"I have no nerves, I dream of winning games although everyone here acknowledges that it's not easy at this level.

"Our system (of five defenders) has been a successful one, we won five games in a row at the end of last season using it.

"I try to put the pieces together and give us a template that will help us win games and win points.

"Espanyol will be a tough team to beat – Quique Sanchez Flores is an incredible coach and has made a lot of interesting additions to the club this summer."
