Sandoval attacks Miku, blasts Trashorras

Rayo Vallecano boss Jose Ramon Sandoval has reportedly attacked striker Miku and hit out at captain Roberto Trashorras.

The incident occured on Sunday morning according to Cadena Ser programme El Larguero, hours after Rayo fell to a 3-0 defeat at Almeria, leaving them with only one point from three matches.

Sandoval reportedly had an argument with Venezuelan striker Miku which became increasingly heated and led to the coach hitting out at him. This led to captain Trashorras to intervene, but the manager then verbally abused him.

"Shut up, you're a captain of s**t," the 48-year-old boss, who was appointed this summer, allegedly said.

"Stop defending your friend….you and your teammates attitude have led to Rayo being in the second division," reported the station.

Rayo, who were relegated in May, attempt to get their campaign back on track as they host Real Mallorca on Sunday.
