Malaga have retained the services of Ignacio Camacho and will keep 'the door open' for a potential return of Isco from Real Madrid, Sporting Director Arnau explained.
Arnau was speaking at a press conference to explain why Camacho's proposed move to West Bromwich Albion did not materialise and also clarified the situation with Isco.
"We received an offer from England for Camacho, it is true," said the Sporting Director, alluding to the rumoured West Brom approach.
"We asked that the release clause was met, and it was not.
"I would always leave the door open for Isco to return to Malaga, he is our boy, but the option of a move came from Real Madrid, not from our club."
