Official: Granada sign two more

Granada have confirmed the arrivals of two more players, Frenchman Frank Tabanou and Belgian Mehdi Carcela-Gonzalez.

The former moves to Andalusia on a season-long loan deal from Premier League side Swansea City, having previously played for Ligue 1 teams Saint-Etienne and Toulouse.

The 27-year-old is predominantly a left-back but can play in any position on the left wing.

Meanwhile, 27-year-old Carcela-Gonzalez arrives at Los Carmenes after one year with Portuguese champions Benfica. The details of his transfer are not yet clear but he will boost Coach Paco Jemez’s options in attack.

Granada have been busy on transfer deadline day, also recruiting Omer Atzili and Alberto Bueno from Beitar Jerusalem and Porto respectively.
