The brother and agent of Fernando Llorente insists the Sevilla striker will not leave the club this summer.
Real Sociedad and Swansea City were reportedly in a two-way battle to sign Llorente, but Kevin Gameiro’s subsequent departure to Atletico Madrid has left Sevilla with only three, recognised centre-forwards.
“Fernando will stay at Sevilla,” Chus Llorente is quoted as saying by Marca.
“We’ve decided not to listen to other offers. Sevilla are a Champions League team and Fernando wants to succeed with them.
“Furthermore, he believes he has the necessary conditions for the new project.”
