La Real rivalled for Llorente

Swansea City and Sporting Lisbon are threatening Fernando Llorente’s move from Sevilla to Real Sociedad.

It was earlier in the week reported that La Real had an agreement with the former Athletic Bilbao and Juventus striker and needed to reach one with his club.

But Estadio Deportivo and Marca both report more interest in the target man, the former citing the Swans and the latter naming both City and Portuguese giants Sporting.

Marca confirms Llorente will leave Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan but suggest La Real are looking at other options to bolster their attack, even though the money offered by Sporting hasn’t found favour in Nervion.

Swansea are said to be very keen and able to offer the kind of money Sevilla would want, Estadio Deportivo putting that figure at €7m.
