Leganes have completed the signing of Carl Medjani from Levante on a one-year contract with the option for a second year.
Medjani underwent and passed medical in Madrid on Monday and the deal has been confirmed by both clubs, AS noting newly-promoted Leganes will present the Algeria international on Wednesday.
Leganes are also expected to sign Unai Lopez on loan from Athletic Bilbao, the midfielder in line to be the ninth new arrival of the summer at Butarque, while the club are also said to be looking for a left-back.
