Official: Livaja joins Las Palmas

Las Palmas have announced the signing of striker Marko Livaja from Javi Gracia’s Rubin Kazan on a four-year contract.

Livaja joins Las Palmas for an undisclosed fee and becomes their second summer signing after Portuguese defender Helder Lopes.

The attacker, who turns 23 next month, has represented Croatia at all youth levels and is best known for his spells in Italy, having played for Inter, Atalanta and most recently Empoli.

In a statement on the islanders’ official website, Livaja “meets the requirements that the sports management have sought to reinforce the team’s front line.”
