Quique Setien has vowed that his Las Palmas players will match Rayo Vallecano’s intensity levels when they lock horns in La iga on Saturday.
The islanders moved out of the relegation zone with a 2-1 win against Celta Vigo last weekend, their first in four games, and can distance themselves from Los Vallecanos with another three points, and the Coach made it clear his side could not take their opponents lightly.
“Rayo will be daring and push high up,” he said at a Press conference.
“They rarely change their way of approaching games. They’re a team who always look forward.
“They’re not going to stop releasing the ball and, in that sense, they’ll play with a lot of intensity.
“If they play with the point of clarity they did against Celta, whom they were very effective against, they can create problems for you.
“Nevertheless, we’ll put in that level of intensity too. We’ll try to make them run and move the ball quickly. That way, we can cause a lot of damage.”
