Diego Llorente insists the Rayo Vallecano squad are putting in maximum effort but results continue to go against them.
AS note Rayo are now 10 games without a win, seven in the League and three in the Copa del Rey, and the last time they went on a comparable run, in the 2002-03 season, a 13-game winless streak saw them relegated.
“The team does its best to win and if the game is fair, sooner or later there’ll be a victory because those who follow us every game will see we give everything and present a good image,” Llorente is quoted as saying.
“We have to [take the point against Valencia] to start the [second half of the season] and the next game, at home with the support of our fans, we have to get a victory.”
