Ronaldo: I said to Blanc…

Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed what was said between himself and Paris Saint-Germain Coach Laurent Blanc, insisting it doesn’t mean he’s leaving Real Madrid.

Ronaldo and Blanc were seen exchanging pleasantries after Madrid and PSG met in the Champions League, with the suggestion the pair have a good relationship that could enable the French club to take Ronaldo from Santiago Bernabeu.

“I talk to a lot of people. When people treat me well, I treat them well. This is a mess that doesn’t exist,” Marca quotes Ronaldo as saying after scoring four goals in an 8-0 routing of Malmo.

“What happened with Blanc is that before he had spoken highly of me and I just said thank you for his comments and told him I appreciated them.

“I’ve known the President of PSG for a long time. He seems very nice and has always treated me well. That’s what happened.”

Ronaldo was also questioned as to reports of a row with Madrid supremo Florentino Perez after Perez was filmed looking to clarify something the Portuguese said regarding his future in Madrid.

“I don’t remember what was said to Florentino, but his comment was a joke,” Ronaldo explained.

“If there was a problem he’d call me into his office and talk to me. Nothing happened.

“There’s speculation every year. I’m calm, I feel good, and I’m happy here. I have a contract for two more years and I’m staying here.”
