Luis Suarez has admitted that Barcelona are still “missing” Lionel Messi, despite Saturday’s 2-0 victory over Getafe in La Liga.
The Uruguayan and Neymar grabbed a goal each at Coliseum Alfonso Perez, courtesy of assists from Sergi Roberto, to keep La Blaugrana in hot pursuit of Real Madrid, but he conceded his side were feeling the No 10s absence.
“Everyone knows what their role is,” he said after the game.
“I won’t dribble past three or four players because it’s not my game. I leave that to Neymar, but the team are missing Messi.
“We played a smart game, taking the ball and looking for space.
“[On Sergi Roberto’s assist], you must always trust your teammates and be prepared.”
