Osasuna aren’t appealing the RFEF’s decision to kick them out of the Copa del Rey for fielding an ineligible player against Mirandes.
The Segunda side included Unai Garcia in the XI, not realising that Garcia had a suspension left over from last season’s competition.
Marca report Osasuna were given 10 days to appeal but it’s not thought they’ll use them and will rather accept the punishment.
Osasuna won the match 2-1 but Mirandes have been reinstated into the tournament. Osasuna have also been fined a little over €6,000.
