Antoine Griezmann has warned Barcelona that Atletico Madrid will “give everything” when the two sides lock horns at the Vicente Calderon on Saturday.
Los Colchoneros fell to a 3-1 defeat in the corresponding fixture last season, but their player of the month for August insists his teammates are not afraid of the treble-winners and will do all they can to maintain their 100 percent start.
“It's a big game for us and the fans, and we'll give everything and try to win,” he told Atleti's official website.
“Barcelona always have possession, but we'll push up, be strong at the back and try to score,” he told Atleti's official website.
“We had a very good pre-season. We find more rhythm and everything seems easier with every game.
“I always serve the collective in my work. We've started the season well and hopefully we can make it three wins on Saturday.”
