Casemiro has spoken of his desire to succeed with Real Madrid after signing a new contract with Los Blancos.
The Brazil midfielder was brought back to Santiago Bernabeu over the summer after a loan spell at Porto, Madrid eventually having to pay to re-sign him due to the terms of the agreement with the Portuguese club.
“It’s a special day and I’m the happiest person in the world today and every day I’m a Madrid player,” Casemiro said, Marca reports, after his six-year contract was confirmed.
“I’m here for longer and my dream remains intact with the same desire. I hope to repay the support of the fans in training and in matches, as I have done so far.
“I want to make this dream come true by working hard every day. I want to fight hard to play for Madrid and return the love people are showing me. I want to succeed at Madrid.”
