Madrid sell Pacheco to Alaves

Alaves have completed the signing of goalkeeper Fernando Pacheco from Real Madrid on a three-year contract.

However, Los Blancos have confirmed via their official website that they have retained a repurchase option, although the duration of the clause is not known.

The 23-year-old [pictured, left] was deemed surplus to requirements by Madrid, with Keylor Navas and Kiko Casilla their first-choice custodians and links with Manchester United’s David de Gea refusing to die down.

A former Spain youth international, Pacheco made his senior debut in the 2011-12 campaign, coming on as a late substitute against Ponferradina in the Copa del Rey, and completed 90 minutes against Cornella last term.
