The Elche exodus shows no sign of abating, with midfielder Faycal Fajr joining Deportivo La Coruna on a three-year contract.
The 26-year-old snubbed Granada in favour of helping the Valencians finish 13th in La Liga last season, but the club were demoted to the second tier for off-field troubles.
Speaking to Moroccan daily Le Matin, Fajr admitted Depor did not want him to play Elche’s friendly on Saturday “as a precaution” and that he turned down “several offers” for the Galicians.
He becomes Depor’s fourth Moroccan import after Noureddine Naybet, Moustapha Hadji and Salaheddine Bassir.
