Deportivo La Coruna have signed former Elche midfielder Pedro Mosquera on a four-year contract.
The 27-year-old, who came through Real Madrid’s youth system, left the Valencians following their demotion to La Segunda for non-footballing reasons and has finally completed his move to Riazor.
Mosquera [pictured, right] passed a medical on Monday morning and is now due to meet up with his new teammates for the first time in Abegondo at 17:00 CET, ahead of embarking on the side’s mini-tour of England and Wales, where they will play Huddersfield and Swansea City.
He becomes Victor Sanchez’s eighth summer signing after Fernando Navarro, Arribas, Sidnei, Juanfran Moreno, Saul Garcia, Cani and Oriol Riera.
Depor are also closing in on a permanent deal for PAOK winger Lucas Perez and negotiating with Benfica for Uruguayan striker Jonathan Rodriguez.
