Hemed quits Almeria for Brighton

Championship Brighton and Hove Albion have signed Almeria striker Tomer Hemed on a three-year contract.

The Israel international has been signed for an undisclosed fee and spoke to the Seagull’s official website after completing the move.

“It is a big honour for me to be here and to start my new challenge in English football,” he said.

“I can say that this club is the best place for me to start my new chapter. I had a great time in Spain with some great moments.

“I really enjoyed the four years and it was a good experience, but now I am really excited to start my new challenge in English football.”
