‘Sevilla’s time has come’

Unai Emery says Sevilla are ready and willing to ‘fight hard’ to win a second consecutive Europa League.

Los Rojiblancos meet Ukrainians Dnipro in the 2015 final in Warsaw on Wednesday evening and could become the first team to win the Europa League four times.

“The fight will be hard. Our opponent competes very well and have earned being here,” Emery said at a Press conference, Marca reports.

“But we want to do something and our time has come. The details will be important and knowing Dnipro, it will be a difficult game and a very long game.

“Our concentration has to be high. Competition will be 100% and it won’t be easy because Dnipro put on a high level of pressure.

“This year [the Europa League] is very important [because the winners qualify for the Champions League].”

Emery also commended Sergio Rico, Aleix Vidal and Vitolo on their inclusion in the Spain squad to play Costa Rica and Belarus.

“It’s a joy for everyone at Sevilla. It’s a recognition for their development and the work of everyone,” he said.
