Garitano only thinking of Sevilla

Eibar boss Gaizka Garitano insists he has put last weekend’s post-match controversy against Almeria behind him and is only thinking of Sevilla.

Garitano walked out of a Press conference at the Estadio de los Juegos Mediterraneos after local journalists complained he was only answering questions in Euskera, the Basque language.

However, the 39-year-old says he is trying to put the matter behind him and is focusing solely on Wednesday’s clash with Sevilla at Ipurua.

“People have made their assessments but I don’t want to go there. My job is to think about the game against Sevilla,” he told reporters at a very short Press conference.

“I don’t want to be the centre of attention and don’t want to talk about it. All the controversy that’s been stirred up has been left behind

“I don’t want to say anything else regarding the matter.”
