Garitano ‘proud but unhappy’

Eibar Coach Gaizka Garitano says he is proud of his team after the draw with Granada but unhappy with the result.

The Basques came from behind to take a point but Garitano told his post-match Press conference that the second half performance should have delivered three points.

“I’m proud of the team but I’m not happy with the result,” he said, Marca reports.

“We started badly but then we played well. We had a good 45 minutes after levelling the opening goal and we were close to winning. It’s a shame we didn’t.

“We don’t usually have such serious flaws. That’s not the proper Eibar and you can’t do that in the Primera.

“But we played well and Granada are strong opponents. After going a goal down we played well. I think this is our best game since at home to Real Sociedad, which we won.”
