Ander Capa has suggested that with a bit more luck, he would have put Eibar in front against Barcelona.
Capa had a great chance to open the scoring at Camp Nou after running clear and rounding Claudio Bravo shortly before half-time.
But with much of the goal to aim at, he could only shoot wide of the near post, with Barca regrouping and running out 3-0 winners.
“I shot on goal but the bad luck is that it went out,” he reflected after the match, according to Mundo Deportivo.
“I wasn’t overconfident or anything like that.
“In the first half the team’s work was a 10. In the second we had the same attitude, we didn’t give up, kept fighting, and look what happened.”
