‘All Eibar games are finals’

Eibar Coach Gaizka Garitano doesn’t believe the game against Levante is more crucial than any other – as they’re all vital to his team.

Levante travel to the newly-promoted Basques on Saturday with the teams level on points after six games.

It was put to Garitano at his pre-match Press conference that the visit of Les Granotes was a potentially pivotal game, but he replied that’s not really the case.

“For Eibar all games are finals. There’s no other way to go in the Primera,” he said, Marca reports.

“We have to approach the game as if it’s our last, as if the world is ending on Monday. We have to imagine that if we don’t beat Levante, we go down.

“The finals have to be now, now week 35 or 36 when we play Real Madrid, Valencia or Sevilla and we have fewer options.

“We need to be winning matches now.”
