Despite a 1-0 win over Almeria, Getafe Cosmin Contra was critical of his team for their ‘lack of sparkle’.
The Azulones claimed the win on Friday evening thanks to a first half strike from Alvaro Vazquez.
But the Romanian tactician has insisted that his men need to play more football.
“We lacked some sparkle tonight,” he told a Press conference. “We have to start playing more football.
“Both teams had chances, but often we lacked that final pass that would have seen us through on goal.
“They created problems for us, but I was pleased with our defensive efforts – we were really committed.
“The attitude from my lads was superb, but we have to press more – be more aggressive.”
