The fixtures for the new La Liga season have been announced with Real Madrid and Barcelona to meet in October and March.
Champions Atletico Madrid make the short journey to Rayo Vallecano to start the season while Madrid host newly-promoted Cordoba and Barca welcome Elche.
The first weekend also sees Malaga play Athletic Bilbao, Levante meet Villarreal, Sevilla host Valencia and Eibar begin their top-flight campaign with a Basque derby against Real Sociedad.
Celta Vigo play Getafe and Espanyol travel to Almeria to round out the ties of the weekend beginning August 23.
The season’s first Clasico has been set for October 26 at Santiago Bernabeu, which means, pending appeal, Luis Suarez will be available to play in the fixture.
Camp Nou hosts the return on the weekend of March 21.
The first Madrid derby of the season will come in the third week when Atletico travel to the Bernabeu.
