Barcelona and Brazil forward Neymar has said he won’t let the yellow card he was shown against Croatia affect his game at the World Cup.
Neymar was cautioned for a clash with Luka Modric and another yellow card before the quarter-finals would see him suspended for one game, AS reports.
But Neymar has vowed to continue as he did in the fixture’s opening game, arguing that if the threat of suspension is on his mind, he is more likely to make a mistake.
“I don’t care. I’ll play to win the second game,” he said.
“I’ll play well and I don’t care if I miss one game because of a card. It’s not what I wanted but that’s it. I’ll play a normal game. If I start thinking about it, it will be worse.”
