Line-ups: Valladolid-Madrid

As expected, Iker Casillas will make his Liga debut this season as Real Madrid travel to Real Valladolid tonight.

The Spain international has so far failed to make a domestic appearance this term, but as Carlo Ancelotti explained, the goalkeeper will play tonight with the Champions League final less than three weeks away.

He leads a backline that doesn’t include Raphael Varane, as the centre-back is back in the capital after a late injury. Sergio Ramos does play alongside Pepe, with Nacho Fernandez and Fabio Coentrao at full-back.

Despite a fitness scare, Luka Modric starts in a midfield three with Xabi Alonso and Isco, whilst Angel Di Maria moves into attack with Gareth Bale absence.

Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo complete the attack.

The home side meanwhile, were without the suspended Fausto Rossi, but were led by striker Javi Guerra.

Real Valladolid: Jaime, Rukavina, Valiente, Mitrovic, Peña, Álvaro Rubio, VPérez, Jeffen, Óscar, Bergdich, Guerra

Real Madrid: Casillas, Nacho, Pepe, Ramos, Coentrão, Xabi Alonso, Modric, Isco, Di María, Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo.
