‘A good man halfway through his life’

Spanish national team boss Vicente Del Bosque has called Tito Vilanova ‘a good man halfway through his life’.

The former Barcelona Coach lost his lengthy battle with cancer on Friday afternoon, passing away at just 45.

And the Roja tactician has sent a message of condolence to his family.

“A good man halfway through his life,” he told EFE.

“A good man has left us, who during his life always did his work well and without doing anything against anybody.

“He has gone halfway through his life. It’s a big loss.

“I join his wife, children and family in their pain at this difficult time.

“Besides my own experiences, the people I know that have shared experiences with him appreciated him a lot.

“My relationship with him was always cordial, he was a nice guy that always collaborated. I’m very sorry he’s gone.”
