Cosmin Contra has said Getafe can stay up with the same attitude displayed in the 0-0 draw with Levante, but they need to take their chances.
The Romanian told his post-match Press conference that he was impressed with the side in every department bar their finishing prowess.
“With that attitude and confidence we can stay up, but we must fail in front of goal less,” Marca reports Contra as saying.
“We should be scoring goals because without scoring goals we can’t win matches.”
Contra added that the decision to drop Jordi Codina in favour of Julio Cesar shouldn’t be a surprise.
“The goalkeeper had a good game and gave the team calmness. And it wasn’t the only change we made,” Contra argued.
Contra also admitted he had no complaints over the red card shown to Alexis in the final 10 minutes.
