‘La Real suffered a lot’

Jagoba Arrasate believes Osasuna’s aerial game proved the difference as his Real Sociedad side drew in Pamplona.

La Real took an early lead when Gonzalo Castro netted after seven minutes but Oriol Riera levelled on the hour.

“We started the match well, got a goal and had the game under control,” Arrasate said at his post-match Press conference.

“In the second-half we suffered a lot with the aerial game of Osasuna. We had chances to win but they did too.

“I think the result is fair but I think more about us than them, and what we can improve.

“A win is better and while the draw means we’re a point closer to Europe, we’re not happy. The idea was to win the game.

“The result isn’t the one we wanted and we lost two points, but we must prepare now for the visit of Real Madrid.”
