Despite crashing out of the Copa del Rey to Real Madrid on Wednesday, Javi Gracia was ‘satisfied’ with his men.
The Rojillos lost 2-0 to Los Blancos at El Sadar last night, but the Coach was pleased with his side’s performance.
“I asked my players to be competitive,” he told a Press conference. “We wanted to combine squad players with starters and make it difficult for Real Madrid.
“I’m satisfied with how we worked – we were competitive.
“We’re on a good line and we have to continue with this way of playing.
“I think it’s logical that Madrid would dump us out of the Copa.
“Now we focus on the League, which is what matters to us.”
