Javier Aguirre believes that Espanyol’s game against Osasuna this weekend will determine how they do in the second half of the season.
The Periquitos travel to El Sadar to face the Rojillos tomorrow afternoon, and the Mexican Coach has insisted that a good result can set them up for the rest of the campaign.
“This game’s going to tell us where we are,” he told a Press conference. “This match is very important to us.
“We have to get right back in our stride and try to win. Nothing has been achieved yet despite the positive results before Christmas.
“It’s going to be a tough month what with all the games. It’ll be intense, but we need everyone.
“Footballers love to play though, and they’re going to have plenty of opportunity in January.”
