Juan Ignacio Martinez confessed that his Real Valladoid team were well beaten against Espanyol on Sunday.
The Pucela lost 4-2 at Cornelia El-Prat this lunchtime to stay in 16th place, and the Coach has conceded that his men were second best throughout.
“We’ve been left with a lousy feeling,” he told a Press conference. “In all aspects of our game we weren’t good enough.
“I won’t take anything away from Espanyol though – they were worthy of the win.
“But we made mistakes – too many mistakes. And when you do that at this level, you will pay.”
