Ramos available against Valencia

Real Madrid have been successful in appealing Sergio Ramos’ first yellow card picked up at the weekend, meaning he is free to face Valencia.

The centre-back was dismissed for two bookings on Saturday evening against Osasuna and was facing missing next Sunday’s trip out to Mestalla through suspension.

However, Madrid have had their appeal over the player’s first booking accepted, with the Spanish Football Federation’s Competition Committee today confirming that they have overturned referee Clos Gomez’s original decision.

Los Blancos, who were facing only having Nacho available in Week 17 at centre-back, had argued that Ramos had not made contact with Alvaro Cejudo and the Committee have stated a similar reflection in announcing their decision today.
