Javi Gracia mused that Osasuna’s early red card made life difficult at Valencia, as he looks to put the defeat behind the team as soon as possible.
The Pamplona side were hit with a 3-0 reverse in Week 15’s trip to Mestalla, with Jonas netting all the goals after Patxi Punal’s early dismissal for the visitors.
“There is nothing that you can say. We must listen, stay quiet and wait for the next game,” Gracia stated afterwards.
“There is a before and after the red card, which has determined everything. Then there is a very clear penalty in the area of Valencia and it is not whistled for.
“Our inferior numbers were then thrashed. There was a conversation with the referee in which you cannot say anything. It was a monologue.
“We have lost the game and nothing more. We have given it everything and in the end have played well. We are now thinking about the next game.”
