‘Valencia are doing things right’

Miroslav Djukic was encouraged by Valencia’s 3-0 win over Osasuna on Sunday evening, remarking that the team are on the right line.

Los Che convincingly put Los Rojillos’ 10 men to the sword with a hat-trick from Jonas spread across the end of the first half and start of the second.

On from the Europa League win at Swansea, the result has somewhat eased pressure on Djukic’s position at Mestalla.

“I will stick with the team’s attitude from the beginning, which has been for the game, without speculation and with aggression,” mused the Coach post-match.

“We have put our opponents on the back foot and come out with a good attitude. The team is growing and gaining in confidence.

“Is this the line-up to go with? They are doing well and we will continue to try and win games. Typically, people who do well are kept and provide continuity.

“Those who are not playing continue fighting for their chance. This makes the team grow.

“I believe we are doing things right. Valencia does not live on one or two wins. We are on a line to follow and want to continue.

“When we were losing, we knew the most important thing was to find the game and find ourselves, and the results are coming.”
