Juan Ignacio Martinez admitted that Real Madrid’s attack was ‘too forceful’ for his Real Valladolid side.

Los Blancos beat the Pucela 4-0 on Saturday evening, thanks to a hat-trick from Gareth Bale and a solitary Karim Benzema strike.

“Against Barcelona we went ahead, and the team grew into the game, despite losing,” he told a Press conference.

“Here, it was quite the opposite. They got a goal on the half hour mark, and then punished us with their forcefulness.

“We know that last week’s loss to Osasuna has caused this, we were low on confidence, and to come here with that attitude is not good.

“They are a great side, and they don’t go easy on you.”
