Real Valladolid boss Juan Ignacio Martinez has called for his side to play with ‘self-confidence’ when they face Real Madrid on Saturday.
The Pucela travel to Santiago Bernabeu tomorrow, and the Coach has asked for his men to believe they can come away with all three points.
“It’s obviously very difficult to win there,” he told a Press conference. “Madrid are very good, everyone knows that.
“Xabi Alonso’s back, which is a major plus for them, but we have to try and compete and get rid of the bad taste from last weekend.
“We’re excited to go there and want to do well on the big stage. Madrid leave you very few options – it’s clear they are superior and it will be difficult.
“But nothing is impossible in football.”
