Real Valladolid boss Juan Ignacio Martinez could not hide his disappointment following the 1-0 loss to Osasuna on Friday night.
Oier’s header on 84 minutes proved to be the only goal of the game at the Jose Zorrilla, and Martinez felt his team’s deficiencies had been exposed in a game where it was vital to have taken all three points.
“My team made a lot of mistakes in a game where it was important to have won.
“We could have prevailed but I have to congratulate our opponents because they capitalised on them.
“I think we were searching for various alternatives to our play but were unable to do that.
“I’m annoyed because our next game is a very difficult one at the Bernabeu,” Martinez told a Press conference.
