Loties not looking past Valladolid

Osasuna defender Jordan Loties has stated his team is not looking beyond Friday’s match with Real Valladolid at the Nuevo Jose Zorrilla.

The Pamplona club are second bottom with 10 points and the Frenchman, signed from Nancy before the start of this season, is hoping to return to the starting line-up after missing the last game against Almeria, a 1-0 home defeat.

“We don’t have many points but I believe we deserved more against both Levante and Almeria. Our fixtures until the Christmas break are difficult but we have to try to get as many points as possible, starting on Friday, but we are not looking further than that,” he told a Press conference.

“I’m hopeful of getting back in the side. I thought my red card against Real Sociedad was harsh and I was having my best game before it, but unfortunately it turned out badly.

“However, that’s in the past and we must think about this game.”

Loties maintains he could not be happier at Osasuna and also spoke of his frequent forays to link up with the attack in some games this season.

“I’m very happy at Osasuna. I’ve made mistakes but I’m getting better every day.

“As for joining the attack it depends on the game and the situation. I like to get forward but, like I say, it always depends on how the match is going.”
