Francisco: Same again, Almeria

Francisco Rodriguez hopes that Almeria can follow up their midweek win over Valencia with another three points at home to Real Valladolid.

The Ancalucians broke their losing streak at Mestalla on Wednesday to record a first win of the season against Los Chen and now their Coach has asked for more of the same in hosting Juan Ignacio Martinez’s men on Saturday.

“The three points have great importance for us by allowing us to continue with great confidence and self-esteem, after beating Valencia on Wednesday,” mused Francisco today.

“It was something that we needed, but obviously we have to keep adding in threes.

“We are working to get the best out of the team and at the same time counteract the many virtues of our adversary.

“We need to find a balance between defence and attack, to be competitive and aggressive.

“We will face an opponent that plays good football, are very well trained and in their front-line has great quality and potential, so we will have to give it everything.”
