Juan Ignacio Martinez has warned his Real Valladolid charges that Rayo Vallecano will be no easy opponent to face in Week 10.
The weekend kicks off with Valladolid’s trip out to Rayo on the Friday evening. For the visitors’ Coach, snapping their Madrid opponents’ improved form will not be easy.
“Rayo have won two consecutive games, they have the highest esteem throughout and believe in what they are doing,” Martinez mused pre-match.
“Then there is their field, which is a bit small in size and that we must learn how to interpret, know how to play and that before reaching Vallecas to play the game, know that we must go out there fully motivated and alive.
“We must look to add points in threes now, we must scrape the points, even as we know the difficulty.
“Rayo are a good team that has played against some great opponents and still taken possession of the ball, and that says a lot about what they are doing.”
