Real Betis boss Pepe Mel has claimed that competing at home and abroad is no problem for his side.
The Verdiblancos are playing in the League against Villarreal on Sunday before facing Rijeka in the Europa League on Thursday.
That though, is not an issue for the Coach.
“Playing Thursdays and Sundays was what we aimed for last season,” he told a Press conference. “And that’s what we’re doing.
“We’re playing in Croatia on Thursday and we are delighted to do so. Hopefully we can do it all over again next year.
“I want to tell all the Betis fans not to worry. We have a squad that can compete. We’re going to have a good year.
“Villarreal are a tough opponent this week and it’s no surprise to me that they’re doing so well. They have a great squad.
“They’ve got a great Coach who works well with his squad. They’re up where they belong now.”
