Real Valladolid boss Juan Ignacio Martinez has praised his side after they ‘suffered’ to a 1-1 draw with Levante.
Babcar Diawara’s first half goal was cancelled out by Javi Guerra, but not before Zakara Bergdich was sent off for the Pucela on the stroke of half time.
“I’ve got to congratulate my boys because Levante had one more man for a long time.
“You clearly saw the amount of effort they put in in the second half.
“It’s a huge sacrifice playing with one less man and we did it really well.”
JIM then commented on his return to Ciutat de Valencia after leaving the Granotes in the summer.
“I am happy and grateful for the reception the fans gave me. I want to thank them all.
“I will never forget my years here.”
