Real Valladolid boss Juan Ignacio Martinez has admitted that his side have to be ‘careful’ when they face Atletico Madrid.
The Pucela host the capital club this evening, and the Coach has conceded that Diego Simeone’s men are on top form at the moment.
Atletico are doing well in the League and are doing well in Europe,” he told a Press conference.
“We know that they are a team that are enjoying a very good moment – both physically and mentally.
“They are the sort of team that will punish any mistake you make, so we’re going to have to be very careful.
“But we will play them with pride and with our fans right behind us. We will try and make things difficult for them.
“To beat them we will have to try and keep hold of the ball, that’s for sure.”
