Real Betis midfielder Cedrick has admitted that Thursday’s Europa League clash with Jablonec is ‘more than important’.
The Verdiblancos face the Czech side in the play-off round of the tournament, and the Congolese flyer has insisted it is imperative that his men win, whilst also commenting on his debut against Real Madrid at the weekend.
“It’s a big game for us,” he told reporters. “It is more than important. We will have to try and give everything.
“We all know it’s a vital game for the club after many years without European football.
“Playing in a competition like the Europa League is a joy for any player.
“My debut was very special and very emotional.
“I just want to thank the club for this opportunity.”
